Does anyone know of a air pistol shooting range in HallGreen Birmingham area or anywhere near there really strugling to find one would really apreciate some help. Need to practice for the comps got three lovely pistols and nout to shoot at great fun eh. Well hope someone can help me out thanks in advance.

I'm the only one here, and I don't find the noise a problem.

I used to shoot outside but moved inside after my formerly-empty neighborhood started filling up with neighbors: people with small children, people peeking through my gate while I was shooting, people telling me "I heard you shooting a pellet gun yesterday". . . I decided to move it inside, where the noise WOULDN'T pose a problem.

I have been there once but that was for a collectors fair a few months back.
As for shooting at home. It is perfectly legal as long as you use common sense, common courtasy. Click >>HERE<< for BASC Code of Practice.

As long as you have a good backstop and you aren't going to be putting holes in the insulation or cracking the tiles...

The loft actually sounds like a good place if you have the space. I've been shooting in my garage for months, expecting that someone would complain about the noise and I'd have to stop, but somehow it hasn't happened.
Pretty good considering it can sound like the OK Corral in there if I have a few friends round... Smilie_PDT

I used to live in Hall Green and cant remember there being any airgun clubs there.

Solihull isnt too far from you and has a club.
Dont think you can turn up unannounced tho best to call first

Like others said i do most of my shooting in the garage. Occassionally i go to Purley Chase FTC and set a few targets up.
