cp88 or colt 1911Any advice on to which is best, and were do i find the longer barrel the 88. Tried looking on internet, but didn't get far..

The 88 is arguably a better pistol to shoot , but there's something about the colt when its in your hand that feels so right

I'd go for the CP88.
As I already have the S&W 586 in 6" I went for the 4" CP88 to give me some variety.
I have found many sites selling the 6" conversion kit, so you shouldn't have trouble tracking one down, but why not go for variety and choose just one length?
On an interesting side point, the CP88 magazine rotates clockwise, whilst the S&W rotates anti clockwise.
This is useful to know if you are only firing say 5 shots and don't want to load a full mag.
